Your windows desktop know you are not there because your screensaver is on, or your desktop shut down. An important call comes into your desk phone, rather than letting it ring through to your voicemail, the presence management system re-routes that call straight to your mobile. The client doesn’t need to hang up, find your mobile number (which you might not want them to have) and then call you again, presence management takes care of all of that. Simple and seamless.
